Abstract: A new architecture of power generation circuit is proposed based on charge pump principle. Then an algorithm is designed to simplify the power generation circuit architecture. Finally, using the novel architecture and algorithm, an example of power generation circuit applied in ultra high frequency（UHF）passive transponder integrated circuit (IC) is given. The results prove that the architecture and algorithm simplify power generation circuits and enhance the circuit efficiency when providing the same output voltage.
