Abstract: In order to reduce severe effects of inter-carrier interference (ICI) in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system caused by time variance of the channel, the time domain ICI self-cancellation (TDISC) scheme and the pilot assisted sub-optimal combination TDISC algorithm were proposed. Through simulations and analysis, it was proved that the proposed algorithm can effectively combat the time variance of the channel and improve OFDM system performance in high speed mobile environment.
